The Master of Arts in Counselling Programme is a two year, 6 module program that will provide training for potential counselors in counselling theory, and practical counselling skills through coursework, supervised practicum, and original research, using a blended format.
Candidates for the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology must hold a good first degree (Lower Second and above) from a recognized institution of higher learning. Due to the sensitive nature of the counseling profession, candidates will also be screened for maturity, integrity of character, psychological stability and academic ability. The process will include:

The Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Programme will run for the duration of 6 modules over 2 years. Each module will run for 12 weeks, 10 weeks of classwork and 2 weeks of face to face engagement.
Courses to be covered include courses in areas of ; Advanced Skills in Counselling, Data Management & Analysis, Research Dissertation, Practicum I, Practicum II.
The Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Programme will be delivered in a blended format utilizing both face-to-face and online methodologies.
Explain counselling theories as a framework for case conceptualization
