Biography

Liino Bukenya holds a Master’s Degree in Development Studies from Uganda Martyrs University, A Bachelor of Arts with Education from Makerere University-Uganda and a Post Graduate Certificate in Research Methods and Writing Skills from The Centre for Basic Research-Uganda. He is a teacher by profession. He is actively involved in development work and his experience covers a full range of participatory planning, implementation, research, monitoring and evaluation. His technical ability is in the sector of Human Development Capacity (Education, Health care, HIV/AIDS), Humanitarian Assistance and Good Governance. Liino has specific skills in mobilising communities to take part in their own education, development, education of children, adult literacy programmes, sustainable use of natural resources and other community benefiting issues. He is also a cross-cultural person capable of working with persons from both local and foreign communities. He is well-versed with research, data collection exercises, data analysis as well as interacting with different stakeholders from all walks of life.
